When I started using Movie Editing Software such as Windows Movie Maker, I was overwhelmed by all of the things I could do with this tool. Instead of making a tutorial on how to do everything, I sectioned it off. Feel free to watch all the videos or just the videos that you need to view to learn how to use the key features that Windows Movie Maker offers. If you would like to see the difference between a video that has not been edited and one that has, feel free to open the files attached as well.
Hi Erin Nice video about your son, the Paleontologist. I liked the way you organized the different short videos to break down the different techniques within the Windows Movie Maker software. I have used this software before to develop short PowerPoint videos. It was tricky because I had to change the PPT file into a JPEG Interchange Format file so it can load each slide into the video software. Other than that, this video software is great to use in the classroom. -Tim
Erin, nicely done. I like how you used your son as your subject. I agree with Tim, the breakdown of the features is neat and clean. It was the best way to try and explain each facet in the time allotment that jing gives you. You are well on your way. I look forward to seeing your project.
